This Autumn (2025) I will be opening my practice in Sevenoaks, Kent
I am currently working on a number of case studies as part of my level 5 diploma in Reflexology as recognised by the Association of Reflexologists and approved by Ofqual (The Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation). On completion I will be qualified as a Reflexology Practitioner (also known as a Clinical Reflexologist).
Training as a reflexologist holds the potential to significantly improve individuals’ physical and emotional wellbeing, I feel very honoured to bring positivity to the individuals I treat, whether that is emotional rebalance, reduction of symptoms, better sleep and just providing a safe space to disconnect with the world and give some much needed “me” time.
What are the different levels of Reflexology
A Level 3 reflexologist has an elementary qualification, typically considered equivalent to an A-level standard, while a Level 5 reflexologist has a more in-depth and advanced qualification, comparable to a Foundation Degree or Higher National Diploma, signifying a deeper understanding of reflexology theory and practice.
What Is Reflexology
Reflexology is a complementary health therapy that can effectively promote deep relaxation and wellbeing. By reducing stress in people’s lives, it helps optimise good health and build resilience. This touch therapy is based on the theory that different points on the feet, lower leg, and hands correspond with various areas of the body, and reflexologists work these points and areas using their hands on reflexes with light to firm pressure.
Regardless of how reflexology is viewed, it undeniably offers a period of relaxation where clients receive one-on-one attention and supportive touch in an empathetic and listening environment. Reflexology can be safely used alongside standard healthcare to promote better health for clients.
Case Studies
As part of the Level 5 reflexology practitioner course to date I have treated clients with digestion, hormonal, sciatica, emotional stress and respiration conditions.
Topics studied and other case studies include:
- Reflexology for Cancer, Palliative and Chronic illness
- Adaptive Integrated Reflexology (an exclusive technique only taught at International Council of Reflexologists (IRC) affiliated schools)
- Reflexology for Reproductive Health, Pregnancy and Menopause
- Anatomy and Physiology of the Human Body and the Pathology of Disease, provides an understanding why clients become ill or stressed
- All the treatments, coursework and learning has been done in person (not online)
I am fully insured and a student member of the Association of Reflexologists (AoR). As a student member of the AoR I am a highly qualified professional with whom clients can be assured they are safe. Level 5 Diploma in Practitioner Reflexology – Agored Cymru.
